DELTACO e-Charge EV-3205 charging cable fits all vehicles with a Type2 socket for those who want to charge via a public charger or their own dedicated charging box at home with Type2 socket so-called mode 3 charging. The cable is made of a TPE material that provides good resistance to oil, abrasion and UV light. The cable is also flexible in the cold. Type 2 sockets are today the EU standard, cars from the manufacturers e.g. AUDI, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, Volvo all use Type2 sockets.

The charging of the car is monitored through a two-way communication between the car and the charger. When the cable is plugged into the car, a self-test is carried out that ensures that the cable is correctly connected and that the car is ready to receive power, before charging begins and the cable is energized, the contacts are locked mechanically, this then protects against both theft and unauthorized use during charging.

After charging, unlock the car so the mechanical lock opens and take out the charging cable on the side of the car first to disconnect it from the charger.

The cable must not be repaired or spliced ​​as this may affect its safety and function.
